A direct sequel to the first season of the hit anime TV series, itself based on the hit manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man slashes his way to the big screen for the first time, directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara. An epic, action-fueled adventure series, its protagonist is the charismatic Denji, who slaved away for the yakuza, trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, until the yakuza betrayed him and had him killed. As he was losing consciousness, Denji’s beloved chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita, made a deal to save his life, thus fusing them together and creating the unstoppable Chainsaw Man.

Denji eventually joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency focused on combating Devils whenever they become a threat to Japan. In Denji’s world, Devils (Akuma) are born from the collective fears of humanity. Specialized operatives known as Devil Hunters are tasked with eliminating them and often form contracts with them to gain their abilities or powers in return.

Now, in a brutal war between devils, hunters, and secret enemies, a mysterious girl named Reze has appeared, and Denji faces his biggest challenge yet. Their chance encounter during a sudden rainstorm quickly turns into something deeper — and deadlier. As Denji finds himself drawn to Reze’s gentle smile, his world begins to unravel, leading to one of the manga’s most unforgettable and heartbreaking arcs.
